Hi, I'm Jordan!

I'm from Chicago. I studied Statistics and Economics at the University of Illinois, where I spent most of my time on computational finance, applied machine learning, and Bayesian statistics.

After school I joined Packback as an early engineer. Packback used NLP to coach college students into becoming better writers — an AI use case in ed-tech back when that wasn't really a category yet. I built and led the data, infrastructure, and AI functions there.

Now I'm the Chief Data Officer at Impruve. We build data infrastructure and help wealth managers implement AI to create better client experiences and run their firms more effectively.

I'm new to this. I spend a lot of time thinking about data, infra, AI, and how technology gets adopted in financial services. This is where I'll try to work those ideas out and share them.
